Default Reverse brag: My parents rock

MY parents are really cool. Really. They are never judgemental and they are very generous. For example, yesterday, I mentioned to DH in front of my mother that I would like to get a portable DVD player because we make a LOT of car trips and DD gets restless. We certainly don't NEED it, but it would sure make travelling with her easier. I got a call from Mom about an hour later telling me to come back to her house and get one- she and Dad both have one, and she says she never uses it and wanted us to have it.

They are very helpful. Dad spent a good portion of the day yesterday trying to save the files on my old computer, and eventually got the thing back in working order (minus all my files, unfortunately.)

They will always listen and never foist their opinions on us, which I think had made us better at deciding things on our own. They will share an opion if asked sincerely, but they aren't controlling or the kind of parents that are alwyas doing things (like telling you how to raise your child.)

    Anyway, they are the best!
