I know I'm in need of a nap when...

....When I'm showering, and pour myself the shampoo and lather it alll over my face instead of my scalp....

.....When I'm making baby food in the blender..and have put in the chopped the strawberries, mango's and poured in the watered down applesauce.. JUST then I realize...I hadn't put the bottom attatchment on!!!

.....When I am taking off the sink attatchement (for the portable dishwasher)..and forget to turn off the water...and even as the water is GUSHING up to the ceiling, all over my face..I still can't function enough to turn the darn water OFF!!

(ok the positive of that last one happening was that it got me a clean ceiling AND a clean floor!)

I really need a nap!!

What things tip you off that you need a nap?

(I would take a nap but we need to drive Ayla to the inlaws, and my MIL ReALLY wants me to come, then I still have a mystery shop to do..and we really need to get some milk!)

I can't nap--really-even as a kid I didn't, I made my mother miserable! The only time I can is when I am really sick-high fever etc. I wish I could "cause I get exhausted and hear so many people tell of the virtues of napping!

I need a nap when ds needs a nap. The only time I get to sleep, otherwise when he's awake- everyone's awake!!

I cannot nap. I have never been able to nap. Dh is out at the drop of a hat, but no matter how tired I am, I don't sleep until it's bedtime. My parents tell me that I used to just scream in my crib for hours until they decided my "nap" was over. (Lovely story to tell your kid...we let you scream until we were ready for you!) So, I know when I need a nap, but I never take one.

I know I need a nap when I my eyes get tired and I am just taking a 5 minute break between Daily Household task!!
I know I need a nap when I get really upset over not being able to get up the simplest of a stain!!
Well I know I need a nap now but I can't take one right now!!

I know I need a nap when I am sick and even the computer gets on my nerves !!

I have fallen asleep reading to my boys! I know it's time for a nap when I am trying to pay bills or read or whatever and I jerk myself up just as my nose is about to touch the book. Every once in awhile, my body just seems to shut down. It TELLS me I have to nap. Once I get to this stage, it is all I can do to drag myself off to bed or to the couch for a short nap. On the weekends, I will occasionally sleep for a couple of hours but usually it's thirty minutes or less and I am back in the action.

I know I need a nap when my eyelids get so heavy that I cannot stand to keep them open anymore. I am a big napper.

Love the nap! I know I'm overdue when I start "barking" at my family for no reason and/or my eyes get heavy. A 15 minute power nap is very refreshing!

LOL i've done the same thing with the shampoo.I've also go the face wash on my hands to wash my face and rinsed it off my hands.MY poor face!I know i need a nap when i put the milk in the pantry instead of the fridge(happens often)
