    Smile We had a "surprise"

What a nice "surprise" we had tonight.

Our neighbors Daughter & Family stopped by...they were out singing Cristmas Carols.

They are a home schooling family. They have eight children.
The Mom is the same age as our Deed.

They were all dressed up in period costumes that the Girls designed & sewed theirselves. The also made their Dad's & Brother's outfits.

We have not seen this family for a long time.

Their two older Boys were not with them. Tom the oldest is a Missionary in Mexico, building Churchs & Schools...second eldest, John is living in Alaska.

Such a lovely Family. Jim got talking about fishing and the two little Boys said they would like to try "Fly Fishing". Jim said he would gather some of his flys & even be willing to teach the boys how to tie. They were all smiles.

Well it certainly was a "Surprise"

It sounds like a nice surprise. What an interesting family. I'm very impressed that the girls designed and made their own costumes, as well as their dad's and brothers. How creative! You have nice neighbors.

Aww, bet there were smiles all around. This helping to teach the boys how to tie flies will help keep Jim out of trouble and make him feel real good. Great medicine.

Too neat! I haven't seen Cathy and Tom in forever, let alone their family.

I don't suppose dad figured out his camera to take a picture?

What a wonderful surprise. That is such a nice thing for the family to be out doing. I love hearing carolers during the holidays.

    That is wonderful!!

I wish I could go caroling! I'm afraid if I went around my neighborhood, by myself, my neighbors would think I had gone mad!! No one else will go with me.
