    Talking Proud Mom

Today was the girls' winter concert. This is their first year playing the violin, and they were so cute. Lauren was right up front (because she's so little--don't tell her I said that! ), but I couldn't see Kathryn when they were playing...she was stuck behind some taller kids.

I am so proud of them for not having stage fright--especially Lauren because she was right up in front. There were at least 200 people (parents and kids) there too.

    Anyway, I'm bursting with pride

Kathryn is on the far left in the red sweater, and Lauren is on the right in the purple pants.

    Awww--- too precious.

Doug always wanted to learn to play the violin, but there wasn't any one in our area to teach him.

Aaawww that's so cool Michelle. I love the pics. If I had it to do over, after enduring 5 sports related knee injuries with my girls, I'd definitely opt for violin lessons.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

My Dd does suzuki too! And fiddling!
It makes music so much fun because it is such group activity....Their performances will always be large groups which really takes the pressure off of beginners because they sound so good right from the start...it is a great program.
