Question Do y our kids wear glasses?

Five out of 6 of our kids wear glasses. Our youngest dd's eyes have steadily declined over the past several years. I'm hoping they don't get any worse has she gets older.

All four of my dsons need corrective lens. Three of them mostly wear contacts. My youngest ds only needs to wear his glasses when he's playing video games. Oldest ds is legally blind in one eye. His vision has become steadily worse in the past few years.

Dd got her first pair of glasses in 6th grade but was fitted for contacts fairly soon after getting the glasses. She is 18 and every year her eyes have gotten worse but the eye doctor told us that until she is in her mid 20's that will happen!

DD (11), wore glasses, until the doctor said that they didn't benefit her any more... When she was tested with and without the glasses, there was no marked improvement... That was a couple of years ago, now she is complaining that it is worse, so I will be taking her in shortly to get rechecked... DS(8) is legally blind in his left eye.. He wears glasses, but I don't think they do him any good. He goes to a specialist a couple of times a year, and all they do is change his prescription... I am figuring they will do some sort of surgery soon, to correct his lazy eye (which is the one that he is blind in), and I am hoping that will help improve his sight... The other two do not seem to need them... Although DS (9) has massive dental problems... Another thread, another time.
