    Question Children and sleepovers?

Has your child ever gone to a sleepover and called you to come and get them? Eleni is at one tonight, and I have a feeling I'll be getting a call! She's already called twice to say that she loves me.

Depends how old they are. When mine were littler, they'd get to go on 'half sleepovers.' They'd hang out and play and get in their pajamas w/ the sleepover kids. But then we'd bring them home around 9:30 or 10.

Yeah I had to go get one a time or 2. Sometimes at bedtime they get "homesick" if you know what I mean. One time I had child over for dd to have a sleep over and at 2 a.m. she decided that she wanted to go home. We sat up and had snacks, read from books and waited till a decent hour to call her mom It was a looooong nite.

~48 yr. old sahw, livin' it up in our empty nest, smack dab in the middle of everywhere.~

My sons are grown now but they both would go to spend the night and have to come all the time. I never got upset with them and I always let them go, then always went and got them. I truely believe when they are away and they call home or call to say "can you come get me please" this is a sign they are truely happy and truely you are doing a great job as a parent.
