DS is moving
DS #2 was offered a good job in Manhattan. He is excited to start this new stage in his life. I am feeling very sad, I know that I shouldn't but I can't help it. DS#2 was quite a handful as a teen, I have the grey hair to prove it. (you just can't see it
)
It seemed that out of all 3 son's he needed the most guidance and I gave him all the attention and time that he needed. Now he is moving away, He does not live at home he is 25 and lives and works in Philadelphia, but I see him every week. I am happy for him and this new adventure and chance for a good career. But the mom in me is worried. I am very hormonal right now (49yrs old) and I cry watching a Hallmark commercial
It's just DH and I now and I am having a hard time adjusting. DH is great, he is sweet and patient and buys me chocolate
Oh the joys and sorrows of motherhood!

I will add you to my prayers. My sons are 4.5 hours a way and I miss them so. I talk to them all the time but it just isn't the same.

Sending you a hug Mary. Letting go isn't easy but it means you did your job raising him well. Wishing him good luck with his new job and that you get at least a phone call a week and many e-mails with pictures to help keep you in the loop.

I had both my kids move out within a weeks time this past Summer. Dd is living an hour away and is going to college & living in an apartment there and my son is a 2 hour drive away at college & comes home for breaks.~*Darlene*~
