Bye Bye Bottles........
and baby food

Paige hasn't had a bottle in almost a week. It really wasn't a hard switch with her as we had already been giving her sippy cups with juice and water for a few months now, and as for bottles we were down to just 2 a day.....first thing in the morning and last one at night. I told the day care to cut back on them too and they didn't give her one after Wed.
As for food she's been eating some table foods for a while now and got to the point where she wouldn't eat anything except the fruits, and cereals in her babyfood so they are now giving her table foods at day care as well. All we had to do was fill out some paper work for them to turn in and the fees don't go up either so that was really good.
I am so glad I don't have to spend money on babyfood anymore, especially since she stopped eating them since she discovered "real food"
So far she's been a good little eater.....I just hope she keeps it up.

Go, Paige!
DD went cold-turkey with the bottles when she was about 10 months. I was glad for an easy transition.

WTG Paige.
Isn't it funny how they suddenly cross that line from baby into toddler?

WTG Paige..
We had no problem getting rid of the bottle. I took it away one day, went to the cup and that was that. We got out of the baby food pretty easy to, ds was all for eating the good solid stuff..lol..
The only thing now is that little thumb that he won't give up.....lol.. he only sucks it now when he is tired or going to be though so maybe it won't last much longer.

Paige doesn't look to be giving up her thumb anytime soon. Family will pull it out and it goes right back in, then they hold it and shse switches hands....lolOriginally posted by crdurham
