    Default DH surprised me with a present. A good one!

    Today DH went to a gardening seminar (his interest & hobby). I stayed home w/ the kids, helped at a Girl Scout booth, and generally behaved myself!

    On his way home, DH did some errands (new shoes for him, etc) and, per my request, stopped at a discount grocery store.

    He got home late -- 8:30. And tired.

    I was thrilled at the produce he bought, so I started unpacking and refrigerating it.

    But then, he called me to sit out and watch TV with him and the kids. After the show was over, he handed me a 'Zales' box.

    In it, a cross, studded with saphires and small diamonds!

    I am DAZZLED!

    I'm dazzled. We've been married 20+ years; I've put on a number of pounds; the kids used up all the hot water, so I didn't even get to shave my legs before DH got home.

    And he treats me like a GIRL!
