Talking Anyone wanting a Large family?????

I was just wondering if anyone's goal was to have a large family? I have 4 and am trying to talk dh into #5. I had a m/c last year and ever since then it just feels like something or someone is missing. I was just curious if anyone has a large family or gearing towards having one? ?? Amy

I always dreamed of a larger family. Not 6 children, but more like 4. I don't think it will happen. (seeing as I will be 33 and am only on my 2nd child) I have miscarried in the past also and truly know that feeling of something being missing.

all depends on what a "BIG" family is...

We have 4 kids (2 boys, 2 girls) 1 single child and a set of triplets... I think as they are growing up (the triplets are almost 4) I am thinking a baby would be a good thing but my husband got himself fixed knowing that I would want more and we are just scraping by as it is now..

So the answer is I would LOVE a big family but 4 kids will have to do for us..

No, I have a special needs step son-10 years, and are in the process of adopting a baby. Many of my cousins have 4-5 each and do a wonderful job raising them-but I am realistic in saying that I could not do it.

Definitely not here! First off, our house isn't big enough for more than 2 kids, and I don't think our finances will allow for more than that (especially when they're teenagers and want everthing that's "in"). Plus right now, I have a 2 year old now that pushes me to the limit on a daily basis, a dh who acts like he's 5 instead of 37 and 2 dogs that listen as well as my 2 year old. After we have this baby, I told dh he's getting snipped. As it is, dh isn't getting any younger (I'm sure he doesn't want to be raising kids until he's 60), and my patience isn't getting any longer, so 2 is enough for me.

I have the room in my house for five more, but my patience will NOT allow any more! DH was snipped (I asked him to do it) and since I am 41, I am waaay too old to be doing the pregnancy routine again. BTW, my dog is better behaved than my kids as well as most of the rest of the kids I know! LOL

I would like 3-4 kids someday if we can afford it. I only have one sibling and I think it would have been nice to have more when growing up.

Our dream was to have 6 kids when we started, but then we decided to stop at 4 because we found we were giving the best of ourselves to our boys and we find it very challenging and it takes alot of our time. We feel that they need so much love and attention...We didn`t feel we had the capacity to care for more. We are pretty tired most of the times already. lol

I also had a miscarriage at my first pregnancy.

I'm the oldest of 6 with two sets of twins in the family. At one time I would have loved to out do my mom by having about 8 kids. Well i found out that I could never have any so I spoil all 15 of my nieces and nephews to death. They range in age from 15 down to 4.
