DS#1 bought his first car Monday!

Well, he had a car, but it wasn't "his". We had an older car we had kept for him and he has drove it for the last year and a half. He has been telling us he would like another car, which we understood because we weren't sure how long the other one was really going to last. He has been traveling by car lots looking. Well he found one he liked and told us about it. He even stopped and talked to the guy about it. DH went over the next day and test drove it and said it would be a good car for him. We talked it over and told him if he really wanted it, we would do the down payment, but he would be responsible for the payments which are only $200 a month. He has a good part time job and can make that easily, plus he is graduating in 4 more weeks and can go full-time. We told him that if he has extra to put it toward the car so it will be paid off faster.

Oh, it is a 2001 Ford Focus. I think it is a cute, little car...perfect for him. It has all the works! I am just proud of him for coming so far after all he has been through!!

Now I am ready for graduation!! I can't wait!! Only 18 more school days!!!! (I am not counting weekends/days off, just days we are in school)
