to your kids while they play? My kids have some imagination!!!

Katie told Jackson to leave her alone because she was cooking (On Jayme's little play stove) and Jackson says "So what you dont like "men" now.." She says "hush Jackson!" He says "Its not like you can even cook...I wouldnt eat anything you cooked for all the cookies in this house.."

Then I hear.... "Mama...tell Jackson to leave me alone and stop talking about my cooking.." lol

And of course Jayme just sits there and repeats what they say and said.... "Cacky (she cant say katie) can cook?! I thought mama did.....MAMA...cacky is cooking in my roooom..."

Ok...now its "not morning" and Jackson wont go to sleep.....he told Katie her cooking made his stomach hurt.." lmao......

I hear that! When my niece and nephew were small, I'd listen to their "conversations". It was incredible what they'd come up with. They are only a year apart, so for a while they had their own "language"...something I've heard that twins do. I have always believed that infants and toddlers have amazing cognitive skills that we adults only begin to understand.

AWWW thats too cute.
Mine play camping in the backyard and I hear them repeating things that my dh and fil say the weekend before at camp.And I thought they never listened lol

I LOVE to listen to my kids in their imaginative play. I'm always amazed at what their little minds recreate (good & bad LOL!).

Yep...Jackson is the worse.Sometimes he is so embarrassing because of the things he says.

my girls get pretty creative too...

victoria was in the kitchen the other night chattering away....she was lining up all the magnets in the crack of the door of the fridge. making up a story.

they are too funny.

yeah my hubby got some sort of membership card in the mail and gave it to my son to put in his wallet to play with. coop calls it his credit card. (great, hes starting young) well he was pretending he had been fishing all day and stopped at mcdonalds to eat. i heard him tell them he wanted a double cheese burger and heres his credit card. then theres "what? you dont have any double cheese burgers?? oh man!" where do kids come up with this stuff?
