oh that's alright Michelle..... you'll have school pictures that show your kids as they actually are!!! I was always prettied up, put in a dress, hair up etc... NONE of those pictures reflected what kind of kid I was... your kids have made sure that their pics WILL!!!!!

I know how you feel. When my DS was three he was in my DSil wedding, the night before he cut a huge chunk out of the front of his hair. I was upset then, but 8 years later, the pictures bring back great, funny memories. Boys will be boys!!!

Bumps, bruises and scrapes are those inevetible parts of childhood. You will look back at those pictures when your children are grown and love them .

Well now I feel like a bad mommy for having retakes done and not accepting my sweet boy for him being just perfect as he was during that kodak moment. NOT I wasn't paying $40 for frogface even if I love him to pieces. My new character quote...."bad mommys do retakes." lol Somehow I think I can still look back on his retake and fondly remember frogface without actually paying for it. They use school pictures for everything in his school including yearbook, so I'm actually sparing him and others from the frogful memory. lol Hopefully, my son won't be too terribly scarred by his mother not accepting him for being froggy.

I'm just being punchy. My mother kept a hideous school picture of mine. omg if I can find it, I'll scan it and we can all laugh until we hurt. It was soooo bad. I swear that picture was everywhere and still haunts me. My mom still laughs about it.

I cut my hair right before school pictures. I think it was 2nd grade. She cut it short to try to fix it and well I looked like a fat boy! Not to mention I was in my 70's outfit which was soooo ugly.
