My son broke his arm....
Saturday night about nine pm, the kids were messing around and "wrestling" in the livingroom (right there should be a red flag), and one thing led to another and DS1 ended up on the floor on his arm... Me being cynical, at first when DD1 said he was hurt, I kind of blew it off... (bad mommy)... Any way once I saw the color had drained from his face and every time he tried to move his arm he winced and tears rolled down his face, I called DH and told him I thought it was broken... We decided since we do have insurance, and it was only going to be a fifty dollar co pay, it was worth it to have it checked out.. Boy am I glad I did.... He broke his humorous bone (the bone between the shoulder and elbow) at the base of the shoulder at his growth plate.. They were only able to put his arm in a sling and immobilize it... He is on percacet, so he is in lala land... Gets it every four hours, I guess to keep him happy and content... LOLOL.... So I am awaiting a call from the orthopedic specialist to see what our next step is... Hopefully no surgery... Boy this is the first time any one has broken a bone in my family since my sister did in 1980......... I had an exciting weekend no doubt....LOLOL....
