    Carroll Heard Retired Educators Association Recognizes Outstanding

    Villa Rica High School Student and Teacher



    Each year the Carroll Heard Retired Educators Association, with the Georgia Retired Educators Association, recognizes outstanding students and teachers in the senior high schools in the Carroll County, Heard County and Carrollton city school systems. CHREA seeks to promote the ideals of integrity, scholarship, school and community involvement and outstanding character.

    Emily, VRHS senior, and Mrs. Jan Ogletree, VRHS Career and Technical Education Department Chair, were selected for this award and will be recognized at the March meeting of the Carroll Heard Retired Educators Association. Emily and Mrs. Ogletree will receive a certificate of achievement from the organization and a $25.00 award from a local bank.
