    Smile My eleven month old

IS GETTING ENTIRELY TO BIG FOR HIS BRITCHES.

I had him in his high chair for lunch. I had some mixed veggies, diced peaches, a few noodles and a sippy of water. I decided to let him feed himself applesauce so I spooned it onto the plate with one of his little spoons. I must have left the spoon on the tray because I looked over and he was feeding himself applesauce with the spoon!

Of course it was an entirely messy process, but I'm so darned happy and proud I had to share.

By golly, my fella may not have teeth yet and his head may be as bald as his rump, but he can use a spoon!

WTG Wesley! Emmett would love to "use" a spoon, but to him that still means attempting to stick it up his nose and then flinging it over the highchair!

^ I'm glad it's just not my boy who sticks things up his nose. I am forever pulling chunks of those Gerber fruit puffs outta his nose.

Congrats to your little man! And just think...him having no hair is a bonus when it comes time to clean up after he feeds himself.

^ We have discovered the easiest way to clean him is to put him in the bathtub in his little tub seat and detach our shower head from the wall (our shower is a bath that has the shower converter kit) and we just hose him down. Saves us a ton on water. We tried to give him sink baths and he would have none of it....it hurt his dignity.

What a smart little boy! It's so much fun watching them learn how to do new things.
