Question Has a parent, what are your strongest points?

What are your strong points? Weak points.

My strong points have got to be my patience and sense of humor through the tough times. I love to teach and can spend hours teaching them a new thing.

My week points - even though I'm patient when our kids struggle with learning or with something such as learning to tie their shoes and I can spend hours teaching them, never getting upset, when I ask them to do something (like put the dishes away) I want that done right now. Course I'm the same in my marriage.

What are yours? Do you recognize them? Are you working on them?

Strong points? I am always there for my kids. I am MUCH more available for my boys than my parents were for my sister and me. I go to all their conferences as well as all the programs that I can (when I am not working).

Weak points? I have little patience. I yell more than I should.

My strong points are being affectionate, patient, and loving to be silly with my son. His laughter is a gift.
My weak points are worrying and protecting. I'm way over the top in those areas and am fortunate that Gabe can often be the voice of reason.
