    Default Great Place to Visit!

We went to the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center yesterday. It's very imformative without talking down to you. My boys and nephew loved it as did my m-i-l and I!If you are in our neck of the woods, stop in and check it out. It was a wonderful way to wrap up our informal study of pioneer living.

Here in Sacramento, they have living history days in our old part of town over Labor Day weekend. Lots of old fashioned crafts, train rides, folks dressed in period clothes, shows and lots more. I don't know if we will make it this weekend. Very crowded there but, is a very good way for children to learn about how things were "In the old days". A great place to visit if you are in Northern California!
