my baby isn't a baby anymore, she was 7 12 when she was born and 21 inches. Now at 9 she wears a size 14, just for lenght. It is really hard for her people think she is at least 12. try to explain why this child that is the height of a junior high student is only in 4th grade. (at 3 school teachers would ask if she was in 1st grade). What made matters worse were that she wanted to be in school with the other children at 3. GOOD LUCK with your little Ah big guys.

    My boys were both big--

Andrew was 9 lbs 11.5 ounces
Robby was 9 lbs 3 ounces

Andrew is stocky a ten year old
Robby is a very wiry nine year old

I had an epidural with Andrew that only took on one side (half an ouch? I DON'T THINK SO!). I had Robby with NO epidural and he practically fell out--two pushes!

Dd 3 looks like she is in Kindergarten (and some people even think she is going into the 1st grade). She was 42 inches (maybe 43 inches) in early July. We took her to Six Flags for the first time and she was able to ride the screaming eagle, highland fling, etc. and the minimum heighth requirement was 42 inches.

She weighed 46 lbs about a month ago. I hope she slims down, but she is definitely tall for her age.

LOL! Somedays, I find my 11 year old very big with an attitude of a 4 year old...Sorry, I just had to say it, because yesterday, was not not the best day, especially toward the end of the evening.

Seriously...two of my babies weighed around 30 lbs during that period....they were chubby babies.

Well my kids are not "big" now, but when they were babies, they were huge.
Here is what they weighed when they were born
    #1 8 lbs 9 oz

    #2 9 lbs 3 oz 5 days overdue

#3 9lbs 12 oz induced a week early, had shoulder dystocia ( OUCH)

#4 my preemie induced three+ weeks early due to problems I had with #3 and he weighed 8lbs 11 oz not bad for a preemie 'eh?

If I would ever be allowed to go full term there is no doubt my babies would be 10-11lbs, so with other pregnancys I am going full term!! LOL

my boys were both BIG when born (9lbs13oz, and 9lbs 4 oz.) but now they are small for their sizes. Only in the tenth percentile. My 7 year old is 44lbs. (6 lbs agained in the last year) daniel who is 17months is around 22lbs.
