We are about to become a family of 5!
After trying for 2 years to make her marriage work, dd has decided to leave her husband and bring the 2 boys here to live!!...Dh and I have told her she could come home anytime and she finally had enough...She works double shifts weekends at a nursing home, and last Sunday was the final blow...her husband took their 19 month old for a walk in the worst section of town , where he used to hang out with all his druggie, drinking pals...and he brag s to her(dd) about doing this!!....
Her 8 year old son from another relationship hates her husband so much and is so nervous around him that he has develped bowel problems...She doesnt dare leave him alone with the idiot , so he stays with us , his dad, or his other grandparents on weekends....
I am so proud of her for finally ending this 2 year nightmare...she has paid dearly with loss of her self-esteem, having to go on meds so she doesnt have a nervous breakdown, losing her friends because they can't stand "him", not to mention the financial losses she has taken due to his stupidity....He is a con-man extordinare and I pity the next woman he suckers in...Keep her and the boys in your prayers and thoughts, please, Thank you for letting me vent

Good things wished for all except the bum she's kicking to the curb. Glad she's getting that monkey off her back.

I don't you but thank God. I was in an abusive relation. I left 15 years ago with a baby who needed diapers and $3.00 in my wallet. I have graduated from college, raised my son, an have gone with my life.
