    Default yds broke his nose...

    He came home yesterday from the last day of school with a broken nose. He was playing basketball and ran into the back of someones head. Took him to the e.r and told them we were seeing his ENT today so they just has us ice it. The ENT today put it back into place. he will have black eyes but not too badly. Got to love 15 yr old boys

    Brings back a memory of DS. Was about 10 when they called from school.
    His buddy threw a baseball and Kenny's nose got in the way.
    They just iced it and took him out of gym for a week.

    Reminds me of one of my DS's baseball games. One of his best friends was on the other team and was pitching. DS comes up to bat and gets walked to first. The little boy who was up to bat after DS had not had a hit all season. What do ya know, he whacks that ball hard...right into the pitcher's right eye. The little boy who was pitching had a whopper of a black, swollen eye ,a fracture and wore goggles the rest of the season. DS, knowing he'd have to face his friend who got hit at school the next day, told me, "Mom, I'm just glad it wasn't ME who hit that ball!"

    Glad your DS is okay and I hope he heals quickly!
