Default Father's Day; what are you doing?

I would like to make my husband a book or something for father's day with some pics and such and address it from the baby. Hopefully, I'll find time to do it this week. For my FIL's (two because dh's parents are divorced and remarried) I'll just send cards. For my dad, I'll take him out for dinner.

What are you guys doing? Are you homemaking any gifts?

I'm really interested to hear what everyone else is planning. Thanks!

We may go on a small weekend get-a-way to the beach. My dad is heading down there for his summer vacation trip this week and I would like to have DH and the kids go down and surprise my dad for the weekend.

The kids may go get DH a gift or they may not. Just depends what we feel like. Mom's day and Dad's day are not things we really get in to celebrating.

Both DH's dad and mine live out of state and DH and his daughter are for lack of a better word....estranged... at the moment so we won't be doing anything special.

In our house Mother's Day and Father's Day are celebrating by simply giving that person the day off. I will cook all meals that day, and be extra nice to him, and I will take the kids to get him a little something with their own money.
