What do you do for 'quality time'
I need idea's!
What do you and your husband do for quality time..not cuddling or anything like that..but actually talking/doing something productive/fun together..
So far the things we do are
I drum while he plays his guitar..(once in a while when there is a break in our day for it)
We watch Ellimidate, it's our 'date' each night
Go grocery shopping together
and I can't think of anything else!
There are SO many things we used to do before Ayla was born too! As much as I miss those days, I love having her around just as much!

We have not done this much yet, but I do want to start:
I recently bought 2 board games, Monopoly & Life. I would like
to play on Fri or Sat night & make popcorn.
We sit on the floor & put the board game on the coffee table.
Our cat is lying right there with us! It's a good way to spend
time together without breaking the piggy bank.
Another idea is to go to the bookstore for coffee & book browsing but we don't live near close to one.
I'm looking forward to reading the othe replies for ideas!

We don't have a babysitter available, so our quality time is with Tyler or when he's asleep or napping.
We are also staying at a friends house... so theres really no alone time unless we go out... with Tyler.
When we go out it is usually to the Zoo or the Mall of America. We used to do alot of fishing but not so much now... until Tyler gets a little older.
At home we like to play computer games together. We have our 2 PCs networked so we can play.
We watch movies sometimes.
Alot of the time we do our own thing, though. He goes fishing or hunting and Tyler and I do our thing.Sherry

We spend most Saturday mornings out yardsaling together and sometimes breakfast. We started this last year when I was still pregnant, and DD's were old enough to stay home alone. Now we still do this, but take the baby with us. She's no trouble, she usually naps.
We also like to go kayaking on occasion. Unfortunately due to the severe drought here, alot of the rivers are not deep enough to go. We leave all of the kids home (with a sitter) and spend the day as "one with nature". It's really nice, especially because DH is NOT outdoorsy, but loves kayaking.
Now that I am mystery shopping, when I get a nice dinner, I take DH and we leave the girls home with the baby while we go out.
Our normal "quality time" that we do most frequently, is go to Home Depot.
I don't like it too much, but go along because he likes it. I'm such a good wife...

We go yard saling together, on Friday morning after the kids have gone to school, we go out for breakfast, it's usually Hardee's for the 2/2.00 deals or something inexpensive but that's OK with me... We live in a very small rural "Village" so we walk together to the post office and hold hands and watch the little old ladies stare...LOL

Dh and I enjoy playing games together (Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, etc.), going for walks after dinner with dd and our dog, and just hanging out and talking. We don't get to spend as much time together as we used to due to both of our schedules becoming increasingly full, but we make sure that we always have time to reconnect. He's my best friend, so any time with him is quality time.
