Update on my mom

She did an amazing turnaround yesterday right after my sons called her. She loves them a bunch. I tried calling her room this morning, but no answer. They may have had her out for something. It worries me in a way, because my sister and nephew are supposed to be there, so why didn't someone answer the phone?

Anyway, she's going into a rehab facility tomorrow. I'm sure she'll be o.k., probably never walk without a walker again, but heck, she's 89! I'll just be happy if she makes it through this. That kind of surgery is hard on anyone, much less a weak 89 year old body.

Thanks for all the prayers. I'm sure that had a lot to do with her recovery as well.

Glad she's doing better. So is mine, but I'll do a different post on that. Anyway, I've been feeling like we are compadres in dealing with sick mothers and so forth!
