Default What board or card games do you and your family like to play?

Games are such a nice way to spend time with family and friends....What are your family favorites?

We like to play, and not in any order:

    Scrabble
    Up Words
    Yahtzee
    Sequence
    Aggravation
    Uno
    hearts

Is there a history of game playing? I can remember my greatgrandparents playing scrabble..games have always been played at holidays and picnics...

My grandfather play played cribbage....but I never learned to play.
My mom likes to play 500.

My parents also play rook, I never learned that either, but I bought it recently to try sometime.

    How about your family?

We don't play as much as we used to... we should try to set time aside for it I think.

Sara: Phase 10 is a card game - it is like Uno and Skip-Bo. It is played by having to have certain phases for each hand; something like rummy. It is easy to learn. It is a fun game and the card deck is under $5.
