What do you and your best friend have in common?
Not including your dh/so, what do you and your best friend have in common?
We laugh, share and cry together and she accepts me as I am. We both love to save money, both love sewing and both have drawing abilities. We both have fostered and both of us have adopted special needs children. We both love antiques and old things and both of us live in the country, although about 3 hrs. apart. We both have the same first names and they are spelt exactly alike and neither of us go by our first names, but have both shorten our first name.
What about you?

i don't really have a best friend.
i do have a close friend, but since we have 2 kids and 1 on the way and they only have 1 kid, about the only thing we have in common is our hubbys. our hubbys are best friends. so, that is how we became friends. since i am a sahm, i don't really have too many friends......just you girls.
(i don't get out much...lol.)

I don't know if I have one best friend, but I have several very close friends that I have tons in common with. Our kids range in age from 17 months to 16 years, we are single, married, divorced, never married, Baptist, Methodist,Jewish, aethiest, alcoholics (recovering), teetotalers, smokers, nonsmokers (very adamantly so!), animal lovers, readers, barely literate, straight, gay, college degreed, high school education, 8th grade education etc. Remember I said we had SOMETHING in common? We all like each other and (more or less) get along! I share lots with my friends that I would never let the public know. This is what friends do! Does any of this make any sense or am I typing toooo late at night?

We love to laugh, and it never seems to end. We both believe in reincarnation and discuss our beliefs frequently. Our dh's are also best friends too and just kind of roll their eyes at each other when we get into a deep conversation about it. Neither of them believe in it.
We both love to decorate, although we have different tastes, we love to share ideas. She is contemporary and I am country. She is an accomplished artist and painted me a lovley watercolor for my home, to match my tastes.
We both love living on the water. She has a place in San jose del cabo, smack on the sea of cortez, and another one as our neighbor at a private park on Lake Michigan. We both get good energy from being by the water!

My best friend and I have been friends for almost thirty-five years. We raised our kids across the street from each other. We have been thru the worst and the best of times together. She lives outside of Seattle now and I am outside Sacramento. We IM every evening and I fly up once or twice a year to her place. We both love animals, food, living frugally, travel and shopping at thrift shops and yard sales. I always have to mail boxes back home from all the stuff I buy at yard sales and thrift stores when I visit at her place. I never had a sister but, she is like a sister to me.

mommy2two... I'm with you, no best friend.
Dave has friends... but they are all single. *shrug* Everytime he meets a new friend on his forums and talks about hunting or fishing with him I ask if he has a wife or girlfriend. LOL

I lied... I do have a best friend, Tyler.

Well.... I tell him everything and we do everything together. That makes him my best friend.
Sometimes I wish I had a few girl friends here... but I don't, oh well. Least I have you girls.

Awe you ladies, I'm so sorry I brought this up. I never thought about those who don't have best friends. I just always thought everyone had one best friend. {{{{hugs}}}} to all of you who don't.
How about you can all be my friend - I know I'm not there but heh we can be friends here.

I don't really have a best friend either.
I moved to DH town when I married so that makes a difference
too.
I have work friends, a few former school friends & am getting to know more people where I live but really no best friend.

Count me in the no best friend group. Mine is in heaven. I do have friends, but none that just know me inside and out like she did. Well, except my dh. He is and always will be my bestest bud! I can tell him anything (and he really listens!!)
I wish i had a friend with kids the same age as mine, and was a sahm so we could hang with each other all day. That would be neat!
