Thank you so much for the information Harry. It's all so confusing to know exactly what to do and to not be cheated when you don't how these things work.

I'm ready to cry this morning at the drop of a hat. I believe it has something to do with trying to sleep in a house that is 96 degrees. It finally started cooling down about 1:30 am. Dh and I were finally able to go to sleep then. I'm exhausted as I'm sure dh is too since he gets up even earlier than me.

We did try putting ice in the pan in front of the fans and that did help a bit. The house was ONLY 86 when I woke up. Thankfully it will only 103 here today (haha) and Wednesday and Thursday it's supposed to drop to 75 as the high, so maybe only 1 more day of this.

I wish we could buy a window unit but if we spend the $200 or so on that, then we won't have the money to pay for the repairs and in another few weeks it will get hot and stay hot here until late September or October. It's not unusual for it to stay in the hundreds all summer and range from 102 to 117 as normal summer weather. I rarely go outside during the summer until the sun has gone down. I pray for winter! Geesh!

Thank you all so much for your good thoughts and ideas. Bless you!
