    Default Lost My Job

Bollocks!!!!! I just lost one of my jobs. My customer service job laid me off. It was only part time, but I took home 400-500 extra dollars a month!

I've had to re-do my entire budget for the whole year in case I don't get another job quickly. And with the price of EVERYTHING going so sky-high, I'm really worried we're not gonna make it. Especially since I've had such a run of bad lucky lately.

Had a raccoon in our attic, $450 for the exterminator.
AC went out, $500 to fix that (and THAT was my B-I-L discount) and had to stay in motel for one night, $110 for the 2 rooms.
Television went out. (Sis loaned me a small 13")
When the raccoon left, he left his fleas behind, another 150 to the exterminator.
Ice maker on the fridge went out. Still haven't fixed that.
I've got 2 bald tires on my car that I have to replace before I can get it inspected next month.

    WHAT NEXT????????????????????

What a bummer! It always seems like everything happens at once, doesn't it? I'm sorry.

aaah... I'm sorry... that totally sucks. really it does.

But I always say.... "a door can't slam shut unless there was an open window in the room" That preverbial 'opportunity' is there for you to discover. Keep your eyes open.

    sorry to hear this...
i know how difficult things feel right now.

BUT, keep looking for something to replace the job you lost... even if it doesnt pay as much... just get something to fill the need... every little extra bit counts!

And keep yer eyes open for something better in the mean time... something that pays equal (or more) to what you had previously that made everything work out.

    It'll be ok...

I am sorry hope things get better soon. I see you live in Houston and my mom manages some "high end" apartment complexes and they can't seem to keep people. People start, get a couple of paychecks and don't want to work anymore. So with that said, hopefully, you can easily find another part-time job in that big city.
