for the first time in a long time
For the first time in about 8 months I just paid all my bills early and had money leftover.
Normally I have to pay them at the last minute and once they are all paid I am only left with a few dollars at best. I am so grateful that my dh left that crappy job and took a chance. As long as we don't have any disasters I don't think we should have anymore troubles.
Now it's time for me get started on that snowball.

Congrats! We got to that point last month and so I know how enlightened you feel today!
Although, be careful not to jinx yourself! I'm gonna cross my fingers for you. As soon as I paid all my bills early, then stuck a bunch of money into savings, part of our tree fell down. $825 later, it is coming down next week before it falls on someone's house. But, hey at least the moola was there!
So excited for you guys! There is no better feeling, after having to skrimp to pay bills, then paying them either ontime or early!
