Guess Who's Back To Work?
Oh happy day! Dh got to return to work last week after about 2 months of being laid off! Yay!
He only got to work 4 days but atleast he is back and the boss's are telling him they are "slamed" with work for about 6 months!
I know that you ALL realize what a relief this is to us.
When dh works he makes about $240.00 more per week than he does on unemployment so that clearly means $960.00 more per month if he gets his 40 hours each week. We're already planning to stick as much of that into the bank as possible to build our emergency fund back up and try to do some car and home repairs that we've had to put off.
Dh & I suffer with depression even on a normal basis so this has been a very hard time on both of us. I'm just so relieved and happy that things are getting better. Thank you ALL so very much for your support through this rough year we've had. Hopeing EVERYONE has a financial turn for the good!

That is really great news! Happy for you...

I so understand about depression....Sometimes it just takes a 'small pick me up' to feel like you are 'crawling out of a shell' and there is hope...There is always is hope.

That is so great! DH was off last winter for 2 months and it was so hard on both of us! Good for you guys to know that they are slammed with work for a while too! Sounds like you have a good plan in place, with sticking money away and making needed repairs!

I'm so happy for you!
I know this has to be a big load off your shoulders right now. Good Luck on getting the EF done. I totally understand about the depression. I find myself brooding over what's going on and have to force myself to do things some days. I'm so glad things are looking up.

That is most excellent news!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
