OMG this is so ridiculous! I hate the bill collectors with a raging, undying passion. I went through this and I feel anxious just reading your story - these people do not even think they are dealing with a human being. They are degrading and disrespectful when they call. I still from time to time get calls regarding bills that were tallied up by my X and they JUST KEEP CALLING RELENTLESSLY. One company calls me 3 times a day. 30 calls a day does not surprise me at all.
