When Dh was unemployed 4yrs ago, we were expexting our 10th baby. The song "I'll Praise You In This Storm" by Casting Crowns got me through the rough days. I still cry when I hear it b/c God used that time to teach us just how faithful He is if we would just trust Him. It was a rough time, yet it was a beatiful time.

Well, I have a few that have got me through. Here are a few:
    I get Knocked Down: Chambawamba
    Chris Tomlin Arriving CD
Free to be Me: Francessa Battistelli
That's What Faith Can Do: Cutlass
You are Holy: Prince of Peace Michael W. Smith
There are so many others that really help but these are the ones I can think of right now.
The top one got me through college and having a family at the same time. All of the others have helped when I have had trouble with my teenage daughter. Thanks, Becky

~Love this thread! I went through a really bad period of depression in my late teens and this song helped me embrace my feelings and the support that God offers us in tough times: "Be Still My Soul" performed by The Kry~

Mine is a song called "Are You Up There/I Believe" by the Osmonds (yes, the Osmonds). I'd post the video but site won't let me.

I think it's beautiful and inspirational.

The End of the Line by the Travelling Willburys

    Well it's all right
    Riding around in the breeze
    Well it's all right
If you live the life you please
    Well it's all right
    Doing the best you can
    Well it's all right
As long as you lend a hand

You can sit around and wait for the phone to ring
(at the end of the line)
Waiting for someone to tell you everything
(at the end of the line)
Sit around and wonder what tomorrow'll bring
(at the end of the line)
    Maybe a diamond ring

    Well it's all right
Even if they say you're wrong
    Well it's all right
    Sometimes you gotta be strong
    Well it's all right
As long as you got someone to lay with
    Well it's all right
    Every day is judgment day

Maybe somewhere down the road a ways
(at the end of the line)
You'll think of me and wonder where i am these days
(at the end of the line)
Maybe somewhere down the road when somebody plays
(at the end of the line)
    Purple Haze

    Well it's all right
Even when push comes to shove
    Well it's all right
If you got someone to love
    Well it's all right
    Everything will work out fine
    Well it's all right
We're going to the end of the line

Don't have to be ashamed of the car I drive
(at the end of the line)
I'm just glad to be here happy to be alive
(at the end of the line)
And it don't matter if you're by my side
(at the end of the line)
    I'm satisfied

    Well it's all right
Even if you're old and gray
    Well it's all right
You still got something to say
    Well it's all right
    Remember live and let live
    Well it's all right
The best you can do is forgive
    Well it's all right
    Riding around on the breeze
    Well it's all right
If you live the life you please
    Well it's all right
Even if the sun don't shine
    Well it's all right
We're going to the end of the line
