Another Update
Hi everyone,
My husband and I are still afloat. He was laid off AGAIN last week but he still qualifies for another 52 weeks of unemployment and my business is doing well so we'll be fine. Capital One doesn't appear to have followed through on their lawsuit threat so we still haven't filed for bankruptcy. We make enough to pay the rent, groceries, and utilities with no worries so we're happy. The credit cards will have to wait until DH gets a steady job again. They said they'd call him back in August but it will be temporary again. He LOVED that job so much but he knows he needs one with security and benefits.
Unfortunately DH broke his glasses so we'll have to get him a new pair (he literally can't see without them-he's currently getting by with an old pair with an older prescription) but otherwise our expenses are minimal. We're blessed, we really are. No matter how bad things get God brings us through.
Hope you're doing well!

Just keep swimming... swimming... swimming --
Sorry to hear about DH's glasses... did you look at www.zennioptical.com for glasses? Even if he doesn't find the 'perfect pair' it beats the heck out of wearing the old script which will eventually give him headaches
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

Can you put new lenses in the old pair frames?

Hey berrywriter! Glad things are a little better. You have a good atitude and that's great.
Fantastic about the unemployment. How long did he have to work again until he re-qualified?Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.
