I'm Voting for McCain. Anyone Else?
With the media blowing the B.O. hype way out of proportion, it is easy for some to forget that not everyone supports him (or can even stand the thought). How many others out there are voting for McCain?

I'm in...I'd like to see a more conservative candidate but the other choice I couldn't live with....Think of the story of "The Emperor's New Clothes" and you have Mr. Obama.

I think you're going to find alot of people either not voting at all or not voting for Obama in this election, simply because of Hillary not running anymore. I'm one of those people.
I couldn't see another four years of Bush with voting for McCain, and I can't see someone with very little experience in voting for Obama. All politics are nowadays is voting for the one less competent or not voting at all. I don't think either one is competent in the least bit. I'm sure you all have your reasons for voting for McCain, and those are your reasons. Anyone using reasons like the fact that Obama is colored and that his middle name is Hussein, or the fact that McCain would just be another four years of George Bush policy, or basing their voting on something other than who can provide the best for their own country needs a stiff reality check.
I don't follow US politics that much anymore since I moved to Canada, but I hope that whomever is elected into office fixes what's wrong with the US both in terms of economy and of others' viewpoints of Americans. George Bush ruined any positive viewpoints of the US populus in the eight years he's been in office. If the next President can mend that somewhat and raise the confidence of people worldwide, more power to them.
So I ask those who responded before me and didn't give a reason why: Why are you voting for McCain?Last edited by MomToTwoBoys; 07-23-2008 at 07:47 PM.

well.. I'm embarassed.
I know what BO stands for.. like as in body odor. but what do you mean by it?
I vote opposite of whoever DH tells me to vote for.
I just don't know why he thinks he can tell me who to vote for! I just say.. Yes Sir. and go behind the screen and vote for the opposite. Just to spite him.
The great thing about America - is that we are free to vote for whomever.
I just won't give up that right to anyone.
So, that means I'm voting for McCain!!
LOL
