    Default Petite ladies kith?

I'm 5'2" and feel like everyone is taller than me. I live in 4" heels and still feel tiny. I love to just once be able to reach something on the top shelf without having to climb...lol!

Are there any other petite ladies (under 5'4") here?

I supposed I fall into this category at 5'4". I've become adept at crawling on the cabinets in order to avoid moving over a kitchen chair. Lol

*stands on the step stool waving arms so you can see me*

    Me! Me! Me!

I'm 5'3". My DH is short for being a dude, he's 5'8" or so. I swear I'm either shrinking or each generation is getting taller at an earlier age, our 11 yr old son is nearly as tall as I am. I was at his school not long ago and I had to walk through the sixth grade wing into the seventh grade wing to an office and I called my hubby when I left and he could tell something was on my mind and I finally laughed and told him, all the kids were taller than I was walking through the halls and I felt like a gnome lol.

edited to add; I'm also a cabinet crawler. It's just easier for me to jump on top of the lower cabinets instead of hunting down the step stool.

4'10 1/2 inch. I wear lots of heels to work, but I am most comfortable in my bare feet.

I am also quite adept at cabinet/countertop crawling.

5'3".....I don't usually wear heels though. I'm short..... big deal. I'm actually the tall one in my family! My mom is 5' and my sister is 5'1". My oldest dd is also only 5' 1", but my youngest dd is 5' 6".
And I'm the perfect height for dh ;-)

Same here. I'm almost 5'2". My dh and his whole family (and my sons) are very tall people. The men (including MY sons) are all over 6'2". My younger son is 6'6". MIL is 5'9".

I am also the shortest of all my siblings.

I hate having to try and reach stuff. Even reaching across a king size bed, to make it, is hard. BUT, I always say, I'm glad I HAVE legs anyway, even if they are only 27" long. It could be worse.

It's still a pain though. When I was young I wore big heels, and clogs and all that to be taller. But I'm into comfort now.

I keep a step-up stool in my kitchen all my BIL's affectionately call my 'legs'. I miss my sons being home. When I felt lazy, I would say "Come here, tall person. Reach that for me." And they would call me a 'weeble'. Like 'weebles wobble, bu they don't fall down.' (a very old toy commercial)

DH used to sing me that 'short people' song from the 70's.

Awww you brought back some memories. I had the awesome weeble wobble tree house and the whole weeble wobble family when I was a youngin'. There was a little swing that hung off a branch of the tree house that a weeble could sit in and swing. Good times playing with that thing and I still have my weebles!

Back on topic - I sometimes get strange looks from people in stores when I'm out with DH because he sometimes calls me peanut and like a man he sometimes forgets we are in public and we can be standing at opposite ends of an aisle and this man will shout "Hey peanut what was the name of that stuff ...."

    Yeah I get strange looks.

I'm 5'3". My doctor said I was 5'2.5" at my last exam, but I don't think she knows how to properly use a ruler. It's weird because I have 2 brothers over 6' tall, and even my mother has a couple inches on me. I like it though. I never have to worry about standing out in a crowd or hitting my head on anything. And I can use tall people to do my bidding.
