I've got it in my head to start on Sunday and am looking forward to it!!
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Thanks!
Are there that many Biblical examples? I know of side-wifes (slaves who gave birth), levirate marriage (hmmm not even sure if this is performed if the bil is already married) and the two wifes of Jacob, but other than that no so many examples pop into my head.

I like to know what I read so here's a little background info on the book of Job. It's probably post-exilic but placed in an earlier nomadic period.
(Babylonian exile starting 597 BCE with the siege of Jerusalem - ending in 538 BCE when Cyrus tells the Jews to return and rebuild the Temple. This period is also regarded as a period of 70 years.)
Two elements are not very well integrated, the hymn on Wisdom (cp 28) and the discourse by Elihu (32-37).
Perhaps some one else has something on the other 7 books we'll be reading?
