But he's not still fasting where every meal is still juice.
I'll have to look up the information, but think there's a crucial part missing and would not want anyone on FV to juice fast and then not know how to stop fasting. There must be a gradual way/plan to re-introduce solid foods. It's a lot like when you're sick and need to eat bland foods until your stomach can tolerate it. Juicing slows down digestion and you would need to build it back up gradually. My guess is it would take almost as long as you fasted. The concept being that you don't return to your old, poor eating habits. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. I found this and it answers my question of how to go back onto solid foods after fasting.

I think he is pretty much meat-free. There was a video of him saying he did eat fish/sea food, though.

Wtg on the weight loss all. My DH and I watched Fat Sick and Nearly dead and it SPOKE to my guy. He's been juicing for 20 days now and has lost so much weight. His clothes are fitting better and he's so dedicated. MY DH! The guy who thought a vegetable is a french fry. Now he's on kale, spinach, carrots, someone pinch me! I did the first 5 days with him, holy hell.
btw we bought our juicer on Amazon for only $60. OF COURSE we start in the dead of winter when vegs are at a premium.Heather

Oh wow. That guy is hot. He doesn't even look like the same person anymore.

I don't do fasts, just the green smoothie in the morning. Most of what I eat during the day is raw, mostly fruit. I'm not sure i have any interest in going anymore raw or vegan than I already am but I suppose I that might change. I'm doing weight watchers right now, and I might change as I get closer to my goal weight. I'm not sure I want to completely give up on the standard American foods. I do love cheeseburgers.
My favorite smoothie right now is probably a bag of frozen mixed berries blended with water and baby spinach. My poor vitamix, it works harder than I do.
ETA, I'm turning 30 in a few days and I've lost about 30 pounds since I turned 29.
