anyone do a Green Juice Fast?
I fast twice a year. I usually do a raw food fast for 30 days in April and in October. This year I decided to take charge of my health and see if I can do a green juice and raw food fast for 60 days. I am on day number 12 and feel great. Day 3 was horrible. I was so tired but that is expected when you fast.
Does anyone here on FV do a green juice fast?Step 1 $207/1500
Step 2 Student loan $160.00 monthly
Schewels paid
Step 3 $252/$15000
Step 4
Step 5 1 child in college graduates 12/12
2 child $50.00
Step 6 $70,761/$93,000
Step 7 Build wealth & give.

Oh gosh, don't let Gabe read this. I'm kidding.
We've been talking about this, lately.
I don't have any interest in going 60 days. But I am very much interested in at least a week and possibly up to 30 days of juicing. Not necessarily just green juice, though. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. We did watch it and I agree that it is inspiring. I'd like to stick with what I'm doing for at least three months and then go to my family doctor before attempting juicing, though. I don't feel comfortable just jumping right in. As it is, a plant-based diet was quite a change for me.
I'd like to transition by juicing once a day for a while before fasting, too.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. the only problem is finding organic produce and the cost. I am not craving anything, not weak, feel better but not liking the cost. Also, I can only buy so much of the veggies as they will go bad before I can juice them. So, more trips to the store.

I forgot to congratulate you on your weight loss. I'm happy that this is something you're doing for yourself.
I'm down 15 pounds in 4 weeks. No doubt a juice fast would have produced faster results for me. I look forward to giving it a try soon.
I'm highly motivated now. I've tested what my body is willing to lose with only dietary changes and plan to kick it up with some more exercise (increased low impact such as walking and using my recumbent bike) so I can compare this past month with this upcoming four weeks. Then I'll kick it up the following month by increasing my exercise and compare that. By then I hope to be ready to try a juice fast and see how I do.
I don't want to lose quickly. I want to make gradual changes and losses so that I can maintain those changes. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. I am curious how you stop your fast? I can't remember from the show.
I imagine some people would need to gradually add foods back again.
I've been eating plant-based for only a month and I don't think my body could tolerate animal products ever again. I truly think I would get sick from it. I feel a bit sick just thinking about it. This made me wonder with raw foods and juice fasting how the stomach/body handles when the fast is over.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. Would either of you have a book that you could recommend or a recipe to try. It sounds interesting and I would love to know more information. We are all so busy and drinking juice sounds like a quick way to stay healthy.
BTW- congrats on both of your weight loss! That's amazing
