I believe regular exercise & a good diet seems to help me keep an all-over feeling of wellness.... which keeps the worrying under better control.
Same here..I have anxiety as well and linked to the stomach (nervous stomach). I have to plan my day and eat on time to avoid acid build up. I just learned about it and I am optimistic that I can improve my quality of life.

Can I join too??? I worry about everything. Every day I have to take my dh to and from work.(He won't have his license back til next year at this time.) Last night we had 8" of new snow on top of what we already have. The interstate I take to get him is backed up for at least 20 miles and not expected to reopen til tonight sometime. My only other options are...do I go over the river and literally through the woods or down the gigundus hill and out the road that is never plowed???It's blowing and the wind chill is -11. The last time this happened I had a major panic attack and he missed work.Gee I have 3 hours to worry about this and three million other things. So please can I join in too LOL.

    Count me in too!!
I really began to notice it about 3 years ago when my depression got really bad. I have always worried but its gotten REALLY bad. I was on Paxil CR for awhile but it stopped working with my seizure meds that were diagnosed and prescribed at the same time. I just got on Xanax...so far so good.
Side-note...my seizures are complex partial seizures caused by a car accident. Suffered for 6 yrs with em NEVER knew what they were...finally figured it out. I have that at random but stress makes them REALLY bad so I have to be really careful with my anxiety.

Count me in too. I have PTSD. Things are much better now, but I have to be very careful about my stress levels. No caffeine for me. Anxiety attacks are the worst

Just spotted this. PTSD here too on top of just being wound up all the time. I've been working and have made some progress this year.

I'm on the depression/anxiety roller-coaster. Have been since about age 12, but didn't get help for it till age 50. Stupid.

I now take Celexa, which is a big help. Now I don't get rattled unless something bad is happening to one of my (grown) sons. My kids are my #1, so I think that's normal.

I also have adopted some of the thinking that ladykemma mentioned. It just isn't worth it to let so many things in life rattle you and cause intense anxiety.

I'll often stop...take a breath...and say 'how important IS this?' We are not in control, people. I'm not really sure at this point in my life who IS in control, but it's not us. So why sweat it? I look at all of my blessings in life instead. Roof? Check. Food? Check. Place to lay my head? Check. Told my loved ones that I love them? Check.

DS12 takes Celexa and I notice that a lot of times, my anxiety is so bad that it's crippling. I was in the grocery store the other day and had a panic attack. I get really, really anxious if DS12 misses the bus to school. I also get really anxious about things with DH. The anxiety gets so bad that even a deep breath doesn't work. I don't really want to go get help for it, but it's getting to where I might have to.

I too have high anxiety. So much so that it's the very reason why I am involved in homesteading and working towards being off-grid. I've turned into a hermit mostly and the only time I truly get anxious now is when I'm in a city setting.

I am trying to unwind after a super stressful month at work. I changed to a new role that will have a six month learning curve before I am fairly competent. Four people in my team have left leaving us short staffed. And the computer system that I work on had serious issues resulting in 10-12 hour (or longer) days for the past month.

I am not getting anxiety attacks again, but the insomnia came back with a vengeance. Stress levels were through the roof. Things are getting better this week, but I really could have done without those problems. I have been off anti-anxiety meds for a while now, but I wound up taking a couple recently to help take the edge off.

    Need a hug.
