yep I`m raiseing 2dgson`s. michael for 1oyrs. Jeremy since april . he`s no t related but I love him just as much.
dgk are so precious. my 2 boy`sare 16 .
I was curious how many grand parent`s there are.

We adopted our 2 grandchildren, now 7 and 5. We've had the oldest since he was 6 months old and the youngest from the day she was born.

It's challenging at times, but oh so rewarding too.

The only part that I regret is that we just don't have the energy to run and play outside like we did when my own kids were this age. We had to resort to training wheels for the bicycle because we just can't run alongside and hold him up long enough for him to get balanced.

cissylu I'm not raising any of my grandkids, but I do know what you are going through my mom & dad had my baby sis's kids for awhile and it was tough.

I would guess that raising grandkids is pretty much the same as raising the first batch...one day at a time and sooner or later they grow up. I think it is an admirable thing you are doing taking care of the boys. (((hugs)))

Not raising but helping, my dd and her dh is living here with their 7 month old son. I can't imagine raising him. God bless all of you who are.
