Baking Club Challenge for February?
Anyone thinking about this yet? I have a tendency to plan way ahead, sorry!
Since it's February, how about baking anything chocolate? It really could include anything chocolate ~ even puddings, candy, etc.Nancy

I'm going to bow out of this one, in part, because I'm trying to lose weight, and in part, because I need to devote some time next month to getting my business plan written! (I've made zero progress thus far!) But I'll still be trying new things to get my 52 new recipes tried this year! Hope to jump into March's challenge, though!

I will join this one but I am only going for 3 for the month. Just because I only have 3 packages of chocolate left and I don't want to buy anymore for a while (I don't bake too often in the summer as it is too hot).

If I am making something that I KNOW I am going to want to eat, I use Splenda. But I know that lots of people don't like it so I know it's not an option for everyone. Usually, I can ignore the sweets. Weird, I know. This will actually be a good challenge for me, LOL!

I am also trying to lose weight and stopped at 3 kinds of bread in Jan because of the calories. Have fun and I will be watching for great recipes.

I'd like to do 3 for February. Chocolate...Yummy!!!!!
01-28-2009, 07:06 AM #15
Does it have to be totally chocolate or can it include things like chocolate chips?
I want to make:
Cream cheese brownies
Chocolate fudge with walnuts
No bake cookies (chocolate with peanutbutter)
Chocolate chip cookies? If it is allowed. Heck, I may make them anyway. Sounds yummy.
Thanks for the early heads up.
