Great job on getting the most out of your food supply!! Bet you cleaned out your system with all the fruits and veggies!!

We are tring to be more careful of using up food on a regular basis so we don't have to throw it away. DH told me he had LO spaghetti for breakfast!!Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

Wow! What a great challenge! I was wondering what I was going to do with my overstuffed cabinets (I took pictures of them which I will post in a bit). I have packages of stuffing and onion soup open (folded over of course) for example waiting till I need them for the next recipe (which I have been too lazy to fix anything lately, um maybe cos it is summer? lol).
As for cookies, not only do I spread icing on as dean suggests, but peanut butter! Hey! that is a way to finish off the jar of peanut butter in my cabinet! I also have half a tub of icing to finish off too.
I will keep up with you, by now I am sure you are on vacation and I hope you have a great time!

Thanks! We are back from vacation. We consumed most of the items in the fridge before leaving. We took a few meals with us to use on vacation. Any dent we made in the freezer, however has been taken over by frozen produce from the families gardens. I am thankful for free fruit-they grow, I process, we share. Still, no grocery shopping needed now. We bought milk, eggs, bread, and some snacks, but no more!
