September Baking Challenge
Has anyone thought about what you would like to do for our September Baking Challenge?? We have done quick breads, fruit, no bake and cookies so far (and maybe something else that I am forgetting).
Any thoughts?

What about casseroles? Or does that not count as a "baked" product?

I am definitely not a baker, however, tomorrow I am baking carrot cake cookies and counting that as my September baking challenge!! My plan is to also use my breadmaker finally!! sometime this month.

Casseroles sounds like a good idea. We have done all the desserts I think and casseroles are cooked in the oven?!

I love casseroles! I would love new recipes! I was thinking of suggesting bar cookies or the like. I love cookies, but to make individual ones takes too long. Either works for me!

I would vote for bread or muffins.....then we could use our bread machines too.
Or.......how about 'open oven'??????

I guess biscuits wouldn't actually be considered bread?
I have never made homemade biscuits and found a
recipe I really want to try, and I have the ingredients. You have succeeded in life when all you really want is only what you really need.

baking muffins sounds like a great idea....I'd love to get several batches made and put in the freezer.

Well it sounds like muffins it is. I will plan to do 2 batches...I am not sure what kind that I am going to do yet. Let's plan on definitely doing casseroles at some point over the next couple of months. I love that idea!

I can always do muffins. I've never frozen them before though. Do you just put them in a baggie or do you individually wrap them first? Thanks!
