My favorite soup is what I call Amish Beef Stew, (it was an amish recipe that i added to ) it never lasts long. I made 2 huge pots and there is about 2 bowls left total. It is easily adapted to everyones taste and also filling. (two bowls will overfill you)

I've made black bean chili this month. Plan on making soup at least a couple times next month.

Yesterday made the Black Bean Chili again. Going to put some in a couple containers and take to work and leave in the fridge for lunches.

I love soup, I make it almost every weekend! I made a chicken veggie soup last weekend, using up stuff I had in the fridge. Tonight I'm making a hamburger veggie soup, I will be having it for lunches for the week. I'll freeze a container or two as well.

I have a question for all of you. My family complains that they never feel full after eating soup even if it is chock full of veggies, meat of some kind and noodles or rice. I serve it with bread of some sort. Then an hour later I am fixing more food all over again. Almost how Chinese food leaves dh hungry an hour later too. Do you have this problem too and if so how do you solve it? Making soup is not frugal for me because they eat so much more an hour later.

This week I am making soup
bean soup mix, a veggie soup stater from Kroger, and broth.
I finally got up the courage to just do something with them (the beans were from angel food years ago was never sure what to do with it)
I hope it turns out I will be serving it with garlic bread."Everyday as your walking down the street, everybody that you met has an original point of view" -Arthur PBS

Right is right even if no one else is doing it. Wrong is wrong even if everyone else is doing it.

I am getting back into my 'soup mode' I think.
Made a chicken soup with left over Costco chicken. It makes
just the best chicken soup.......always make soup with the leftovers.
Good flavor!
