I'm in for a bread this month. I'm just not sure if it will be sweet or savory.

Thought of you today when I saw two of them at a TS that I was at-----had the 'stir part' but didn't plug it in, no manual.......one was a Welbilt brand - $10. Can't rem. the other brand. This wasn't the best TS for prices. Value Village---and for the most part --their prices suck!

This one looks good but I think I would use raisins instead of the nuts.

That does look good palooka. I like that website too but my favorite is still recipezaar. I can spend HOURS just cruising through the recipes.

Wouldn't ya know...........we declared bread BEFORE I found the Mrs. Field's Cookie book at the thrift shop........
OH...there are some good sounding recipes in there!
Got rid of over half my cake to my 'victim' so I can bake again soon.

I made this, yuck!! It just crumbles up when you cut it, no real banana flavor, nothing 'bread like' about it. I'm going to throw it out for the birds, maybe they'll like it.

Oh THANKS for posting that gapeach........it was just a 'weak moment' that I bought it........I NEVER buy cookbooks.
I am so glad I got a good one. This is one plus......
PLUS......you, that have read my other postings, know that I DON'T DO ANYTHING with rolled dough..........well.......I may have found a bread that I can do..........foccacia!! I am so excited. Found a recipe in the BH & G Mag. and I am going to try it. You just pat it into the pan with your hands.................hey....I CAN DO THAT!!! Plus---- I absolutely LOVE any foccacia bread that I have eaten........so here's hoping!!!
Plan on trying to get it done next week....will let you know.

I made this bread yesterday, Anise Almond Loaf (Bread Machine) - 195360 - Recipezaar . I liked that it was slightly sweet like a coffee cake but not too sweet, and really good on calories, sodium. I'm going to try it toasted this morning with some whipped cream cheese - or, wait, maybe as French toast???
