Today I took 1 box of HB Helper from the pantry and 1 lb. hamburger and some frozen peas from the freezer. I put the free turkey from DH's work in the freezer so no room for anything else.

My freezer is looking great.
The meat fits on 2 shelves. This includes the turkey and turkey breast that I added to it last week.
I hope to use up all of the other meat before restocking. Want to use up all of the old stuff before buying new.
I am going to get a couple more turkeys and some ham since the local store has buy a cure 81 ham for $2.99 lb. get a turkey free and if you spend $25 you can get another turkey for .49 lb. So my plan is to buy the ham that will be almost $25 and then get the free turkey and then get the .49 lb. turkey.
So for about $30 I will get a cure 81 ham and 2 turkeys. Not to bad in my books since the cure 81 ham is so good and is almost $5 lb otherwise.Debra

Well, I finished off over half of my list. Many older items are now gone. I did restock just about everything you can think may be on sale for Thanksgiving. My freezer and pantry is so full now. I need to restart.I think I am going on a total eat out of the stockpile until the new year. I am going to try not to buy anything except the regulars-milk, bread, etc. I will probably have to pick up a few items for Christmas baking, but not much.
