I'm in! I'd like to make 1 new recipe a week, whether it's a side dish, main dish, whatever.
I like giving the kids variety. A lot of my recipes come from Taste of Home magazine/website.McD

Add me to the bunch for at least 1 new recipe a week. Hubby & I are always trying new recipes and I love adapting them to what we like & cutting back on things like oil. I know it's not the first of the year but last night we made a Barefoot Contessa's Parmesan Roasted Asparagus, it's a keeper!
I hope you all will share the recipes you try and if you can adding those keepers to the Village Cookbook.
Looking forward to some great recipes!~*Darlene*~

I will also aim for 2 new recipes per month. Since I tend to "enjoy" cooking only in bits and spurts, this should be on the interesting side! But I just have to start to make lower calorie, lower sugar healthier meals for DH and I

I'm trying for at least one new recipe each week. I received a pressure cooker for Christmas which I really want to utilize this year along with my slow cooker.

Since I'm new to this, I have a question... Is this where we will post/be accountable and share our recipes or will there be a separate thread?

I "think' that they prefer you post 'tried and true' recipes in the cookbook. One section is for untried recipes.........and another is for the ones that you have tried and liked.
I just post what I had and will sometimes post the recipe if someone wants it. I am not going to post every recipe I try..........too much time! And I also post them here.....but not the 'preferred' way.

My goal will be to try 4 new recipes per month or one per week. It really shouldn't be hard if I stick to trying to make more nutritious meals for my family. I am so limited in what we make now almost everything will be a new recipe. lol

I'm going to try two new vegan or vegetarian recipes each month. I intend to try main course or side dish recipes, but since most desserts are vegetarian
I might try some of these too.
