I posted the new thread in the other one......

I think new month it would be good if we just did a 2011 post instead of each month..........if we remember.

Was going to do it this month and FORGOT!

I'm definitely in. I've got my menu plan posted, my shopping done. I should be good to go for the majority of the month out of my own stores.

Will be starting seeds this month as well. Once my garden is going that will dramatically lower the amount of fresh produce I will buy, but I won't really see that until May or later. Temps are still averaging in the 30s here.

We had vegetarian fajitas and used up:

    tortillas (basement freezer)
1 sliced green pepper (upstairs freezer)
    corn (from upstairs freezer)
    some parsley (upstairs freezer)

Also used up the last of the fajita seasoning and an onion. And some yogurt in the fridge.

ETA: while I was downstairs I did the cold room inventory too. Told DH I had *27* pints of applesauce and he said he guessed he'd have to eat more of it then! He was offering it to our boarder...telling her to take it to university to feed her friends! I want the jars back though, for canning this fall!

I had fish sticks on the menu for today. When I went to get them it truned out to be fish fillets, which is about the same thing, but proof I need to eat what is here to know what is here.

Again for supper, I went to get what I thought was 6 hot dogs, enough for each of us to have 2 dogs. I found out that I only had one pack of 4! Guess the good news is those two items are gone!

    Used March2

    fish fillets
    hot dogs
pizza (since there weren't enough hot dogs)
    lots of fridge leftover sides
