Sorry, been busy folks. Company...and helping run a Strawberry Social...
Used up:
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
4 chicken breasts
2 cans tuna
apples
tomatoes
frozen bananas
jar of pickles
jar of almond butter
eggs
Busy today making food for the upcoming weekend so I don't have to spend a lot of time cooking. It's raining today, so it's the ideal time to bake. Made some GF banana loaf, and some raw energy balls. Want to make some GF bread before the day is over. Don't know if I'll have time.
I find baking to be a great way to use up food from the freezer.2013 Challenges

I've been cleaning out the cupboards and using leftovers up in the fridge.
~ Finished off two bags of brown rice. Working on the third.
~ Finished some nori seaweed sheets making sushi.
~ Finished some rice paper wraps making vegetarian spring rolls.
~ Finished my hm mayonnaise making a Tuna Egg Waldorf Salad.
~ Finished the bag of potatoes last evening making potatoes for supper.
Tomorrow I'm going through the fridge to see what I can put into supper or use in baking. There are lots of little jars with a bit of this and that in them. I want to use them up. Things are getting lost at the back of the fridge. Might be time to bake muffins for DH and the boarder.2013 Challenges

lol! You two!
It's a hot day and we're having pasta for supper. I know. Huh?
But I'm on a grocery exile and I only had two chicken breasts for 3 people. So it's Chicken Alfredo time...using rice milk, and lactose-free Parmesan cheese (I'll still react, just not as badly as if it was normal cheese, and I need to use up this cheese). A friend also gave me her celery tops and they went into the Alfredo. As did the remains of an onion. I'd have salad again, but we're out of tomatoes.
