    There's no guarantee that just by eating certain foods you will lose weight. You must limit the caloric intake to less than what your body needs, to force it to burn its own fat. For most people this means 2000 calories or less per day.

    Also....some people (my dd, for example) are allergic to most of those fruits.

    Eating vegatable is far better for weight loss AND fiber.
